Aggregates are inert granular materials such as sand, gravel and crushed stone. These products are ideal for a variety of purposes, such as creating a stable surface for driveways and paths, landscaping projects and construction.
Here, at J & J Currie, we stock a wide range of directly sourced aggregates. All of these are available from smaller carry bags (20 – 25 kg) up to large bulk bags (800 kgs max). You can also collect from the yard or opt for delivery to your doorstep. We have an array of options to suit all needs for both your professional and DIY projects.

White Sand
Type 1
6F2 – Recycled Rubble Product
Washed Gravel – 20mm
Ballast – 0-10mm
Ballast is used to mix with cement to produce concrete.
Kiln Dried Sand
Used for brushing in between paving/block pavers/tegula.
Building Sand – 0-3mm
Building Sand used for mixing with cement for building bricks & blocks.
Cold Tar
Granite Dust – 0-6mm
Granite Dust is used in place of washed sand for making high strength concrete.
Also used for laying paving slabs.
Rocksalt/Grit – 0-6 mm
Pure Rocksalt or a Gravel/Salt mix available.
Tar Plainings
Washed Gravel – 10 mm
Commonly used for drainage.
Washed Or Sharp Sand – 0-5mm
Washed Or Sharp Sand used for laying paving flags.
